- On ‘040 macs when converting a picture in black & white mode it would look all black.
- Now the dialogs look fine when using ClickChange with a custom WDEF.
• New Features:
- Boosted speed to up to 9 times as fast in pictures that use solid colors. The less color switches, the faster and smaller it will convert.
- Recognises two more resource types: ICN# and ics# (both are black and white bitmaps).
- now you can read ANY resource that’s in the clipboard. Try this out by selection ONE resource in ResEdit and copying it and then opening the clipboard in FC Text-Picture.
- Will convert any picture that is at least as big as your screen minus the menubar.
- Many other misc. interface things as well.
Version 1.1.2
• Bug Fixes (only for thousands or millions of colors mode and '040 macs):
- In thousands or millions of colors it would start converting only when it saw a black pixel. Note: this is APPLE's fault because the GetPixel function CHANGES what it does under thousands or millions of colors.
- On ‘040 macs when converting a picture copied from an icon in the Finder™, it would have a black background. Its one of those weird ‘040 type things (I being a faithful SE/30 (‘030 processor) user).
